Full day tour (City highlights+Hermitage main building)

Description

On this tour you will drive through the historical center of the city. During several picturestops you will see some of most known architectural ensembles and historical landmarks of St. Petersburg. You will explore the premises of Peter-and-Paul fortress, the birthplace of the city, and marvel at the stunning elegance of the interior décor of the cathedral, the burial place of the Russian tsars.

After lunch in a local restaurant plunge into the world of fine arts housed in the State Hermitage Museum, by far the largest museum of Russian, ranking with world largest and most known galleries and museums. Not only will you see the masterpieces of fine arts, but also the buildings that house them, some originally meant as museum spaces, some as living quarters, like the Winter Palace, which served as the official residence of the tsars for over 150 years.

The sequence of the venues included in this program is subject to change following the days off, high holidays, working hours and events organized on the sights. The number of the venues will nevertheless remain the same.
